My new insurance company (One that would cover Liveaboards) required that I have the boat surveyed. It is a process where a "Professional" comes and inspects the boat. The final results are a list of deficiencies that should be addressed, and a fair market value, so the insurance company knows what the boat is worth. There was nothing on the survey that the insurance company required to be fixed, and the few issues that he found were already on my todo list.

9/Aug/17 Getting A Washer/Dryer Unit
One of my long term goals for the boat was to get a washer/dryer. I posted on a Sea Ray forum asking if anyone knew where the washer/dryer was installed on the 440 Aft Cabin, with my layout. Not only did I get a response, but the guy asked if I bought one yet. He had one for sale for $150.
The price was perfect, but it was located in Florida, and way to big and heavy to ship. Lucky for me I have friends that have a house in Florida that drive back and forth a couple time a year (Thank you Tim and Katie).
It was not easy getting into the boat, taking apart everything I needed to get it in place. But with Bill, Sean and Joe's help I got it in and installed.

Nothing To Plunder gets a major interior facelift. Rich's Carpet One did a great job!ing To
The time has come to install new carpet in the boat. Rich's Carpet One in Hamilton New Jersey has been great to work with. With help from my friends I finally picked a carpet. Do not ask me why, but the color I finally decided on is called "Stormy Grey". I am not sure if that is a good sign or not, but it is a good color for the boat.

25/Apr/16 Twenty-one days after I bought her,and after five years on the hard under shrink wrap, she goes back in the water today! I did not think I could move that fast but with lot of help from friends and cooperation from a couple of vendors Nothing To Plunder is floating!
Week of April 10th, props reconditioned, remove and replace a very leaky water heater, and Bill after cleaning the v-birth (The Tricario Suite)
6/Apr/16 - The first major job, was to install four new batteries weighing 75 LBS a piece. What a shame the only place to squeeze your body into while you remove and replace the batteries would not fit a 12 year old. It took about 3 hours and a little help from a friend (Thanks again Bill!), but the new batteries are in. After I installed the batteries, I had to check the engines, both engines and the generator started. Only ran them for 2 seconds each, but it felt good to her them run.
The diesel cleaning is scheduled for the week of April 18th, and I have a company scheduled to come and steam clean the carpets and the furniture on Friday. The price was so good it would not make sense for me to do them myself.
I also found enclosure for the bridge. It looks like it has never been used.
Angel and I spent most of Saturday cleaning the boat. Sorry I did not get any pictures of us cleaning. The Aft Cabin, and head are clean and ready to go.

3/Apr/16 - Yet to be named is unwrapped for the first time in 5 years. It was very scary, but it did not look as bad as it could have. The outside was very green, but over all the inside was not to bad. I do have my work cut out for me. Bill was very helpful, he power washed the entire outside of the boat, while I started figuring out what was what on the inside.
I have my work cut out for me, my goal is to have the boat launched by the end of April. First priorities are; new batteries, polish fuel, bottom paint, and tune the props up. They all must be done before the boat can go in the water.
Thank You Angel, Bill T., Jackie & Joe L., Paul and Rebecca, for helping unwrap and start the cleaning process.
